The ask

View came to us with a focused ask. Integrate data from a new real estate provider into their platform, on cloud native infrastructure.

That one integration kept growing. They handed us the legacy re architecture, then production ready UIs, then the mobile apps, then analytics platforms processing millions of data points.

What changed in 2023

View was acquired and rebranded. The ask scaled with it. Rebuild the whole platform on a new design, keep the legacy platform running for existing users, and do both in three to four months. Both platforms ran side by side until the switch.

How it grew

The Corelogic integration landed in 2019, the SA1 dashboard in 2020 and Salesforce Marketing Cloud in 2021. The Web IT to Zenu migration followed in 2022. 2023 brought the Android and iOS rebuild and the view.com.au brand launch. In 2024 we took the mobile apps over from another vendor and integrated project profiles, school catchment and REIP Nexus.

Engagement rose with the rebuild. Pageviews a visit went from 2.02 in July 2022 to 3.19 in July 2024.

What we did

Tech decisions built to last

Legacy stacks moved to microservices on React, and ColdFusion was retired. Prometheus carries application performance monitoring, and Storybook with Chromatic carries visual regression and CI/CD.

Analytics that feed product thinking

Matomo and Druid feed a user and product analytics pipeline straight to the product teams. Backend and frontend are instrumented, so properties, pages and user interactions stay visible in near real time.

A team grown, not hired in a hurry

The Avesta team on the account went from 7 engineers to 48, through the Aspire programme and outside hiring. Product sense sits inside daily engineering, which is what holds quality steady across systems.
